An amazing one-of-a-kind 1950s dance costume, worn on Broadway from the collection of dancer Nelle Fisher. Thick red and white textured gingham weave. Thick high waisted full skirt is heavily box pleated, decorative buttons up the front and hidden hook closure. Cropped fitted blouse has a heavy weight metal front zip. Gusseted 3/4 length sleeves with fold up cuffs and hidden hooks. Low cut neckline and off white cause unset with little black bows.There are seams to let out in the top but not the skirt. Bust only is lined. Features a matching bonnet.
